Privacy Policy

This policy explains how The Effective Syndicate (“we”, “us”), which runs GSD Manager Training, collects and uses personal information when you visit this website, sign up for a free session or resource, or take part in the training program. Questions: team@gsdrules.com.

What we collect

• Information you give us: your name, work email, company and job title when you register for a session, request a resource, book a call or sign up your plant; the names and work emails of the people a plant adds to the program.
• Payment information: plant subscriptions and book purchases are paid through Stripe. We do not see or store full card numbers.
• Training activity: course enrollment and progress on our training platform, and session registration and attendance.
• Website usage: pages visited, links clicked, device and browser information, and the campaign that brought you here (UTM tags), collected with cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it

• To run the program: give your people access, send session details, reminders and recordings, and report attendance to your plant.
• To send the resources and emails you asked for. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
• To process payments and keep business records.
• To understand which pages and emails are useful and improve them.
• To measure and improve our advertising (for example on LinkedIn and Meta).

We do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

We use service providers who process information on our behalf, under their own security and privacy terms:

• Vercel (website hosting)
• Resend (email delivery and our contact list)
• Stripe (payments)
• Thinkific (the training platform)
• Microsoft Teams (live sessions)
• PostHog and Microsoft Clarity (website analytics)
• Meta and LinkedIn (advertising measurement)

If your company signs up its plant, your plant's HR or training contact can see who from the plant is enrolled and who attended. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep the site working (for example to remember your name after you register), to measure how the site is used, and to measure our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works, though some personal touches will not.

How long we keep it

We keep contact and program information while you are on our list or your plant is in the program, and afterwards as long as we need it for business, tax or legal reasons. Ask us and we will delete what we do not have to keep.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time with the link in every email. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing team@gsdrules.com. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights under state law; we will honor them.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS and we limit access to personal information to the people and providers who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The program is for working adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
